Glad the Chiefs won. Should be a good Super Bowl, especially if Mahomes can get healed up a little more in the next two weeks. Hurts isn’t too shabby either.

Two lousy games today. The refs ruined the 2nd game for me. I felt the refs were biased against the Bengals. intentional grounding?? There were several players near the ball! Then I saw Patrick Mahome throw the ball in the middle of the field and no call! The guy that hit Patrick Mahome late was crying his eyes out. I am glad I am not him. He's going to have to live with that forever.

I’d have to see the play again but I’m pretty sure they threw the flag because Burrow didn’t get it past the line of scrimmage. It was the right call.

Though I picked K.C. to win, I was emotionally neutral on the outcome. Both teams are great and deserve respect. That being said, the officiating was so one-sided against the Bengals it was laughable.

On a sentimental note, one of my best friends passed in 2014 and he was a life-long Eagles fan. We always pulled for each other's team when they weren't playing each other. He rarely bought a piece of Eagles gear without picking up some Vikings gear for me. My daughter still wears my favorite Vikings sweatshirt he bought me from the late 90s. I'll be pulling for Jerry's Eagles on February 12.

Well that was interesting! For the first game, it seemed the 49ers heart just wasn't into it and the Eagles smelled blood and let them have it. As for the second one, it was entertaining but injuries, mistakes on both sides and questionable refereeing kinda put a damper on the game. It's really the Eagles to lose but Mahomes has 2 weeks to get back his A-game and KC takes the trophy.

VH1986, your last post remindes me of me of my fallen friend Mark. He was one of my childhood buddies growing up in Chicago. I was into the Bears back then but he loved the Steelers and we would always tussle. I lost interest in the Bears when I moved but he stayed loyal to the Steelers to his dying day, which was from colon cancer. He got to see many Steeler games in person and lived long enough to witness Super Bowl XLIII before he passed. Here's to our buds in that great gridiron in the sky!

You see that a lot in the NFL. Yes you want to be aggressive but when the QB is that far out of bounds, let him go.
