Challenge? Not much of a challenge really. The US dollar is completely fucked. When Biden sanctioned Russia on Ukraine, Putin demanded payment for resources in Rubel and backed it with Gold. Power play. We're watching the death of the petro dollar and it's gonna sting like a mother fucker.

Nixon was actually about third in line on that. It started with Klaus Schwabb who developed the World Economic Forum in 1971. Kissinger was tied to the hip of Schwab and talked Nixon in to that. He then went and developed Saudi Arabia and other countries in the middle east to export oil and demanded use of the US Dollar as the currency. That created a nice boon for the US for 50 years but it's about to die a harsh death. The house of cards are falling all the way down now. People largely have no idea what's about to happen.

For some inexplicable reason, many Americans have a "that could never happen" mentality, when they are confronted with something that's otherwise obvious.

More than many, most. This generation has never been presented with actual hardship so it's too much of an imaginary leap to move to the opposite of what they've experienced. It's going to be painful. I'm not a prepper in the traditional sense, but I see what's coming. Covid was the trigger point for the reset. I've got food supply, 200 gallons of water, precious metal, cash (if that's worth anything/just in case), I'm taking care of all covered health preventions (teeth cleaning, dental, full physical/blood work etc) and vitamin supplements. I don't think these things will be available much longer. Most importantly, my faith is in God and I know He wins this. I'm on His side. It'll be ok for me. I worry about everybody else.

That's a nickname my brother gave to one of our cousins. My wife has since given one of her brothers that nickname. Am I just that blessed or do other families have a better than most.

I once worked with an Ecuadorian man, and the tales that he told me of his mother country - inflationary changes of basic staples that varied **by the hour** - made me appreciate the stability that we've enjoyed thus far, and to never take it for granted.

It's a combined effort between Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa; this is nothing to sneeze at.

Brazil's economy is the tenth largest in the world; Russia is the 11th largest; India is the world's fifth largest economy, and China arguably might be a challenge to the US in itself.

A BRICS currency could easily challenge the dollar.
