The DLR Cast

Was listening to the latest DLR Cast and it was mentioned that some of Dave's recent band members have been posting on Instagram from Henson Studios. Dave likes to record there, so who knows? Has anyone else heard this?

I'm by far one of the biggest David Lee Roth fans I've ever encountered in my life (and I'd imagine this site is filled with my competition), and I had no clue that there was a podcast dedicated to him that started two years ago and has 61 episodes. How big can their audience be lol

This may be a case where size doesn't matter...

The hosts of the podcast have posted here and over at the Roth Army... great folks! They have lots of interesting material and interviews. Well worth the listen.

Wow, I remember finding that place when i was like 13-14. It made me realize how mentally ill people on the internet are*. They were right in the end, though. People who prefer Sammy Hagar in Van Halen weren’t cool, and it’s still probably the worst opinion anyone can have on earth, regardless of how I personally feel about the matter.

From a perspective of a 13-14 year old experiencing the whole spectrum of the Van Halen/DLR fan site universe in it's prime, may have been quite unsettling as to what exactly was playing out.

To suggest many suffering from "mental illness" would be a tough call without first sorting out who was real, who was in on the joke, who was just fucking around or simply fucked up... the full spectrum of imaginable personalities and creative genius was in attendance back then.

I've always felt these boards could be a gold mine for psychology majors...

Given how dry the creative well has been in the entertainment industry... I'm surprised no writers have discovered the wealth of comedy and drama plot lines that could be farmed from the two remaining fan sites. A whole music based series of movies or mini-series could be found just in the Main forums... not to mention dozens of soap-operas could be found all over the place... LOL

I listened to the recent podcast with Steve Vai, & want to give big just due props to the podcast for scoring Steve Vai as a guest. Very impressive. Kudos to you.
