Such a fun song, and as cool as the title is, I always thought "Get Your Buzz On" would've been way better and more memorable. Probably would've been more popular with that, too.

Believe it or not, that Van hagar video from the 5150 Tour was the 1st time I remember listening to 55.

I dig Montrose and some stuff from the HSAS record. Hagar' solo album were never big here in Brazil.

I also remember There's Only One Way to Rock and Your Love is Driving me Crazy playing on the radio.

And there was that show from Hagar with some cars chassis on stage and the band would walk over them while they would be playng TOOWTR.

1986 came in and then, all of a sudden, the man was jumping into a pot of gold joining forces with EVH.

I remember the first video I saw of Sam was 3 Lock Box. Was ok but kind of generic. Then 55 was out and it was better because it was more of an anthem. However I wasn't driving so I wasn't capable of driving 35 let alone 55.

Luckily, Van Halen I was released less than a month later, and so began the end of the Disco and Yacht Rock bullshit....

can't say for certain that was what i saw, but IMDB doesn't list any other appearances between 1978 and 1984 and I'm certain there were, but if that was the one, yeah, that wouldn't have sold me in '78!
