No, he had heard Satch's Boogie. And said it sounded like HFT.

I think that whenever a VH record came out, he would put on KLOS in the car to try to hear their singles on the radio. And while waiting for the VH tune, he'd hear other popular songs of the day. So he probably heard whatever was on the radio in 1984, 86, 88, 91, 93, etc.

IC55 peaked at 26th on the billboard Charts. I never heard the song once until I saw LWAN for the first time in 1991. Monster? Maybe more of Ghouli than a Godzilla.

Speaking of ICD55, my son sent me some quiz on brainfall or magiquiz, I can't remember. Anyway, one of the questions was What song is your personal anthem? The answer choices: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sweet Home Alabama; Kenny Rogers, The Gambler, Alan Jackson, It's Alright to be a Redneck; and Van Halen, I Can't Drive 55.

I was ten years old at the time, all I could do was watch it on Tv.

But nothing like that has ever happened in that stadium ever again.

Sammy is still legendary around here for his swearing.

there was a video earlier this year of Joe, Sammy and Chad jamming Soap on a Rope.

We didn't get cable until 1987, so sample-size bias. I saw B2F II and until you mentioned it, didn't know that it was in the movie. Came out in 1989? I don't think I've seen it again since I saw it in the theater.

Just rewatched the scene with IC55 in it. Damn, did Biff take over my town of San Francisco? Feels like where I live now.

I love the first Back To The Future, but the next two were kind of meh.
