Shouldn't the first question be what the baseline for this is?

In 2021 and 2020 WATTPoultry has reported 7 laying hen barn fires and the death of over a million birds. "Barn fires continue to be a problem for the U.S. egg laying industry," they say.

2019 was a devastating year for barn fires in the US.

In fact, 2013-2017, 326 barn fires killed at least 2,763,924 farm animals in the United States, and 95% of them were chickens.

Gotta tell you I am shocked--SHOCKED--Tucker didn't care to give his audience any context and then leads them to some sort of conclusion that isn't true. Almost like the guy has a pattern.

Yup. Dude literally ran a segment completely devoid of any context that said Biden is accurately quoted saying he planned a food shortage with the G7 and that hen farms have been uniquely burning and that must be what is causing the egg price increase.

And I'm sure there are thousands of people who have posted this video with "Tucker nails it again" as their comment.

Nothing that I've read up here. Can't speak for Mexico. Based on the reporting here, seems to be avian flu related stateside but the feed/fire issues won't help.

God Tucker has become such a twat. So he opens with saying that when Biden met with the G7, he said they spoke about "how we could increase, and disseminate, more rapidly, food shortages." That's what he said. It's on tape. But no one covered that the President promised to increase food shortages, the White House didn't correct it, and Facebook flagged the quote as false news. Facebook thinks we are supposed to believe he is senile and we can't trust his own words, verified on tape, a tape no one can dispute.

Yes, we can't possibly know what he was thinking at that moment. He was quite obviously saying the G7 met to plan a global food shortage and it is an outrage that news organizations didn't take misspeaking one word totally out of context and report the opposite of what was clearly the main idea of his answer. They actually reported on the entire context, which is obvious to anyone with a pulse.

I agree with you 1000%, and as you know, I am someone that detests the polarization of society, which is the natural consequence of floating news stories with a narrative.

On the other hand, something's not right here: last week, in CT, a hatchery that produces eggs went up in flames. This was one of several unexplained fires that occurred in meat packing plants, etc.; something's not right.

Unfortunately, because the mainstream news refuses to cover stories adequately, it creates a vacuum that's filled with sensationalistic conspiracy theories.

Agreed, but there's another issue at play: just the mere mention of foul play, raises the ire of many "free" thinkers, whose normalcy bias prevents them from seeing or thinking about anything outside the box.

On the other side are freaks who get some kind of rush off of bad news.

In both cases, it's the thinking that produces the behavior.

It is. But I guess what you mean by "bringing it up". If you mean people are asking reasonable questions like "why isn't this getting any mainstream coverage when egg prices are crazy?" Sure, they should be applauded, not attacked. It's another when people question but then apply their own answers like "this is Biden's plan to starve people". Those people should be challenged for those positions.
