In celebration of Mother's Day, former VAN HALEN bassist and current MAMMOTH WVH frontman Wolfgang Van Halen was joined by his mother, Valerie Bertinelli for this week's episode of "Wolfgang's Top of the Pack" on SiriusXM's Classic Rewind.

During their heartfelt and candid conversation, Bertinelli discusses her relationship with her late husband and Wolfgang's father, Eddie Van Halen, and wanting to marry Elton John before meeting Eddie.

Bertinelli also shares why she thought LED ZEPPELIN's "Dazed And Confused" was actually called "Dave And Confused" for David Lee Roth's "lead singer disease." Bertinelli also talked about playing Alanis Morissette and Peter Gabriel for Eddie Van Halen during challenging times.

Speaking about "Dazed And Confused", Bertinelli told Wolfgang: "I, for the longest time, thought the name of the song was 'Dave And Confused' because when I first would watch the shenanigans that happened, I was new to watching a band and how they worked with each other…

So I would watch what would happen, and I would notice when… Your dad had a saying called 'LSD' — he called it 'LSD' when Dave went on his little 'LSD rant,' which is short for 'Lead Singer Disease.'

And then you'd see the crew kind of get scared and do everything, and everyone was, like, 'LSD. It's 'Dave And Confused' time.' And you just hear when someone goes [hums opening notes of 'Dazed And Confused'], just walking down the hall.

And we're, like, 'Oh, God. Okay, we have to be careful,' and we'd start walking on eggshells. I always thought it was called 'Dave And Confused' until I… 'Oh, wow. Oh, it's 'Dazed And Confused. I get it.'"

Wolfgang chimed in, saying: "Yeah, I'm familiar with that too. I was in the band… I remember right before the first… In 2015, Dave fired the video director because he wouldn't film his feet well enough. 'Dave And Confused'."

Desperately trying to stay relevant is all I can come up with... And a quick "Dave was weird" type comment is low hanging fruit. She knows damn well Led Zeppelin didn't write a song called "Dave and Confused". Just an immature comment.

I wish them both peace and happiness, but I'm done clicking on anything that has to do with these 2 unless there's news related to some sort of unreleased Van Halen music or whatever, which I know is about a 0.05% probability.

Ed's been gone over a year and a half. Time to sell your books/interviews, etc. based on something else besides your 1st ex-husband and his band. Write a book about Tom Vitale, or gaining/losing weight and how it makes you feel about yourself or something....

She's back to annoying again. I gave her a grace period (Ed's passing) but the slagging of Dave is getting a bit much.
