Got it from the MLB website, the record vs >.500, but I might have read it wrong.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Well if the Dodgers get beat it won’t be from exhaustion, like last year.

I can handle that better. If Trea Turner bats .130 again LA in trouble

No, that's where I got it from too. I thought it was odd that they only had 50+ games played against >.500 teams by the end of September.

I thought the record was established at the time they played each team. But I suppose it's a fluid number that changes throughout the season as teams go above and below .500? IDK

Only Barry Bonds (73), Mark McGwire (70, 65) and Sammy Sosa (66, 64, 63) are ahead of Judge on MLB's single-season home run list. But while Judge holds the AL record, Maris' son, Roger Maris Jr., said this week that he believes Judge should be recognized as the true "home run king."

Maris' mark stood as the all-time MLB record up until McGwire passed it by hitting 70 in 1998. Bonds surpassed McGwire in 2001, with baseball's official single-season record of 73 home runs. But Maris Jr. diminished the accomplishments of the two sluggers, who reached their feats during the so-called steroid era.

"He plays the game the right way," Maris Jr. said of Judge earlier this week. "And I think it gives people the chance to look at somebody who should be revered for hitting 62 home runs, and not just a guy who hit it in the American League, but for being the actual single-season home run champion. That's who he is. It's 62, and I think that's what needs to happen."

So apparently only New York players are allowed to hit the most home runs in the American League.

Gotta give him credit though - he did it while also hitting for average. I would expect today’s player to lead the league in home runs while hitting .210 with 200 strikeouts (or would it be .200 with 210 - magic eight ball is cloudy…)

Thankfully he hit in in the 1st inning. So I didn't have much of a chance to fall asleep, like I did with 61 (had to rewind that one). Congrats to Judge!

It was getting frustrating. In the first game yesterday, the two rookie call-ups hit HR's. The backup catcher hit a HR. Seems everyone was doing it but him. LOL

I'm not a big fan of Michael Kay, sometimes he can make a good call (Jeter's 3000th hit), but last night's call on 62 was not good. And he seemed to hesitate at first--as soon as Judge hit it I thought it was gone and he had the benefit of being at the stadium.

When the guy was making the catch of the 62 ball, if you look to the left you'll see something fall from the stands down behind the wall--a person jumped down I'm guessing his strategy was get down there in case it was dropped. LOL

OK, so it's a fluid number. With SF losing and now at 80-81, LA's record against teams with winning records dropped to 35-23.

this afternoon it will be time for the Marlins and 17 other teams to play one more and then put it away for the winter. I fear the Rays won't be far behind...

Dude who caught the ball has already received offers of $2M, which he has declined. People are estimating it could be worth $5-10M at least.

The guy is doing ok for himself already as he is VP of Fisher Investments and the husband of Dallas sports reporter Bri Amaranthus--yeah, she's not ugly.
