yeah, kind of belongs there after all those years. Maybe if they had stuck with the original plan for rotating it, but they didn't so now to me it should be as much a part of the leadup to the 600 as the twins are to the Daytona 500

Exactly. Still looking forward to it. Wonder what will happen if Byron and Logano are going for the win on the last lap.

glad Blaney won, especially after NASCAR tried to take it away from him with that ridiculous caution. But I fear after a promising start to the season, we are back to where we have been for the past many years - the race is won off pit road or in the first lap or two after the final green flag. After that it seems it is back to being extremely difficult to pass the leader. Great that there seems to be a lot of moves back in the pack but ultimately once the checkered flag waves, nobody cares who went from fifth to third.

Yeah, my wife was pissed when the yellow came out but then was very happy when her driver one.
As for passing the leader, not happening a lot this year unfortunately.

So the guy that left F1 (Sauber team) won yesterday? Whoa! Ericsson used to be a regular driver while a F1 race car driver.

Not the most talented, not the worst as well. He had a severe crash during a qualifying day in Monza/Italy in 2018, if I remember well.

Lot of people from around my area were down at the races all weekend. Arca, Trucks and Cup.

Did you catch any of of the Arca West Race from Sonoma on Saturday? My neighbor a few properties down has a race shop that does ARCA West. Their driver came in 5th. Pretty cool.

Yeah, they changed the name a few years back, that series has been around for a bit. ARCA West feeds some drivers into Nascar Trucks, main ARCA Menards and a few have went to Xfinity (old Busch). They have the ARCA East also, cuts travel down, keeps it more regional.

Ty Dillion used to run a few Arca West races a while back. Kyle Larson ran Arca West as well.
