    Default Accurate Fresno Setlist??

Decided to pop on my "VH Live Right Here, Right Now" dvd tonight as it's been a wee while since I watched it and the beers are flowing and watching got me thinking about the actual setlist.

Online i can only find a setlist which does not include In n Out or MOAM but obviously they were played cos they're on the dvd??

Does anybody know an accurate setlist for the shows that became the dvd?

RHRN is infamously known for featuring faux live footage spliced into some of the real concert footage. You won’t find a Fresno setlist that matches the live release because of this.

I was aware WGFA was recorded in the studio for the live album but had never realised this about the dvd.

Very bizarre, so MOAM, In n Out and Spanked were all basically rehearsal recordings in the arena with crowd noise added?

Incredible the ultimate live band went so non live with this dvd???

I remember reading that the version of Dreams on the live record was an older version from previous tours which inspired the band to start playing in again. Was that a Sammy line and they just recorded it in the studio or was it an older version?

There's a difference between releasing a well produced live album "warts and all" and releasing an album literally without putting even the smallest amount of production value into it.

The Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore is a live album that's "warts and all". There are numerous examples of legendary live albums that are performances with warts, but are well produced.

Tokyo Dome wasn't "warts and all". Tokyo Dome was this.... "Okay so, we have the soundboard audio? Beautiful. Boost every track by 18db and burn it to CD. We're good to go, here...."

RHRN and Tokyo Dome are on opposite ends of the shit spectrum. One was paralysis by analysis and the other was "we dont give a shit....just put it out...". At the very least, RHRN was produced. Like there is actual production value on the album.

RHRN sounds great, and it looks great, except for the fact it was filmed on two different nights and footage was put together, so they change clothes sometimes during the songs. It doesn't matter what they did behind the scenes much to me. The end product is what counts imo.

I don't even listen to Tokyo Dome anymore, Roth's vocals are not very good on it.
I am not sure why Roth picked that show of all VH shows to be released.

Most of the on-stage shots in RHRN that clearly showed the band playing the song you were hearing, were filmed on a stage with no audience. Where those shots were filmed, I have no idea but there wasn't an audience present. If you notice, many of the tight, on-stage footage never shows any of the audience.

There are quite a few wide shots that include the crowd but you have no idea what song they're playing.

It's actually very cleverly edited. But that entire album and concert film was created in a studio and an editing suite.

No, that's their '91-'92 sound. Also recorded in the studio.

Man on a mission, In n out and Spanked were recorded at sound check on the morning before the show, then the crowd was added in later, for the dvd.
