I didn’t realize Muncy still couldn’t play. Wow.

If they wouldn’t give big money to Corey Seager they won’t give it to Freddie Freeman who is much older.

I just read from an article yesterday that Muncy is still hoping to be ready for the start of the season. Did something change since yesterday?

It really depends on how the UCL tear responds to non-surgery rehab. It is his non-throwing arm. The revelation that it was a "tear" just puts a little doubt out there.

But if he ends up needing Tommy John... then he would be out much longer.

Maybe NYY signs Freeman. They could use some help at first base.

Seems odd that NYY, Boston, and the Dodgers have been so quiet. For the Yankees, it seems the younger Steinbrenner's aren't as 'bold' as their dad was. They really seem to care about staying beneath that luxury tax threshold. I still think Freeman stays in Atlanta. Yanks, Dodgers and Boston all could use a regular 1B.

Or maybe those teams are biding their time until the new CBA, so they know what the new "rules" will be. lol

Kudos to Texas for making these new deals, but haven't they learned anything from their past? A-Rod's contract comes to mind. They have certainly improved, but they're still not nearly as good or as deep as Houston, or even Oakland. ...or Seattle...and possibly even Anaheim. lol

I wonder where Corey Seager's brother, Kyle, will end up. I don't believe he's staying in Seattle. Too bad, they would've played each other 19 times this year.

So the Orioles actually did sign a baseball player on Tuesday. You can giggle all you want, but Rougned Odor is a bonafide major league second baseman. Sure, he was almost-good four or five years ago

MLB announces discipline for Marcell Ozuna under its domestic-violence policy, an unpaid 20-game suspension that includes all 20 regular-season games he served while on administrative leave from Sept. 10 to end of ‘21 season. So, he can return immediately at start of ‘22 season.

At least he'll get more starting time in Baltimore. Maybe that's what he needs. I hated when the Yankees got him earlier this year. But he is quite the cheerleader.

I really don't follow baseball much the last 25 yrs so your telling me he might be an ok player? Guys usually only sign with the Orioles out of desperation at the end looking for one more payday.

No, let me be perfectly clear, I did not say Odor is an ok player. Unless you like poor defense and a 30% K rate. Yanks already have enough strikeouts in their lineup.

But he did have a few years of 30+ HR's while in Texas. Like I said, maybe he'll be ok with more playing time.
