Thatís the thing he played on one of the best offensive teams in baseball with one of the deepest lineups, and wasnít called on to produce like heís going to have to now. So weíll see how that goes for him. And again heís always hurt. And thatís an issue.

And yes his glove is somewhat suspect. Even the article I read about him said that he benefited from the great positioning the Dodgers use on defense. Trea Turner honestly is the better player if you look at all aspects of the game.

Certainly will give someone like Nelson Cruz a lot more options.

i'm sure they'll be back, with new and exciting unnecessary changes to a game that's been loved just the way it was for over a century. In the meantime, I hope both sides lose a boatload of money...

Well from past lockouts and strikes we know the league/players will make even more money while pissing off all the fans and the fans that say they are gone will be back. Its an addiction and they know it.

Hopefully this is just for show and everyone gets around by Spring Training...WITHOUT THE DH IN THE NL....but that's probably unrealistic to hope for.

From the outside it seems completely preposterous that the major league minimum is over a half a million dollars, a guy just got a contract for over $40 million a year for 3 years, the owners are all making money, and yet they are finding ways to disagree with each other to the point they are potentially unwilling to play baseball until they sort it out. It really is unbelievable.
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

Starters barely last 5 innings these days. So sad.

Strikes and Lockouts aren't all bad...

Never forget that time during the 1994 MLB Strike when Mike Piazza saved/rescued that lady in the Pacific Ocean. CJ Parker helped as well.....

He also has bad luck. I'm pretty sure two of those long lasting injuries was from getting hit by a pitch.

I wish LA was able to keep him , cause I liked him as a player. Seemed like a good guy.

He probably will hit 50 home runs in Texas and win MVP and make the hall of fame. Like Beltrie did.
