Man, lot of bands on this list I don't like, so here goes:

Jimi Hendrix - The Wind Cries Mary

Jeff Beck - couldn't name one

Santana - Smooth I guess, don't like Santana

Queen - cliched, but Bohemian Rhapsody

    Kiss - Domino

    Alice Cooper - Poison

Gary Moore - couldn't name one

    Rainbow - couldn't name one

Motorhead - Ace of Spades I guess, not a big fan

    Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak

Nazareth - Hair of the Dog

    Scorpions - The Zoo

Krokus - couldn't name a song - is Midnite Maniac them? If yes, then that.

    Def Leppard - Run Riot

    Saxon - no idea

Motley Crue - Knock'em Dead Kid

Malmsteen - I think there was a song called "Tonight" with Rising Force that I liked, but I can't remember anything more than that

Satriani - something from Surfing with the Alien, but I haven't listened to him in probably 20 years

    Megadeth - Peace Sells

Monster Magnet - Space Lord Mutha Mutha

    Pearl Jam - Black

    Rammstein - no idea

    Foo Fighters - Everlong

If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

So I can assume that a lot of the linkers don't know a single Rainbow song? Interesting.

Plus, as I expected, we are not really into "modern" rock bands. I had a hard time trying to pick them and finallly opted for Airbourne and Audioslave for two reasons. The former are pretty much AC/DC wannabies, and the latter was old pricks (Cornell, Morello). Before making the list I listened to some songs by FFDP, Asking Alexandria, Arctic Monkeys and stuff like that and it was usually totally unlistenable for me.

    Two questions:
Have you ever listened to early Santana, think the first four albums? Santana, Abraxas, III, Caravanserai? BTW late Santana worth checking out: Milagro and Santana IV.

Did you lose interest in Blackmore after he left Deep Purple or his music just never clicked with you? BTW what is your fav. Deep Purple song?

This is a great song that really grooves ...

"It's so lonely at the top because it's so crowded at the bottom" - Diamond David Lee Roth

"The truth sounds like hate to those who hate the truth" - Todd Wagner

"Women and Children First ... The REAL Van Halen III"

DD, is this the Yngwie song you were referencing?

"It's so lonely at the top because it's so crowded at the bottom" - Diamond David Lee Roth

"The truth sounds like hate to those who hate the truth" - Todd Wagner

"Women and Children First ... The REAL Van Halen III"
