He’s a cancer and he’s old. Now they might be able to move him because his deal is over after this year. So yeah maybe someone might finally take him midseason.

I still don’t understand the obsession with thinking are Warriors are the best team in basketball though. I don’t even think they were even the best team in the West last year let alone a guaranteed win another title. I’m telling you I would be shocked if that team won another title like they did this year. People can think they’re back or something but that was just luck it really was just a right good run of luck. Sure they played well but so many things could’ve gone the other way just as easily.

So in my mind it’s up for grabs another if another team happens to gets hot at the right time. And the Lakers really have enough talent to do. They won’t. But they could.

Every small market team is now thinking young and cheap. All these teams now have analytics departments. They don't want or need broken down RW for $47 mil...haha... They can win 35 to 45 games just fine with a young developing core.

RW is a poison bill in any trade. The Lakers would have to sweeten the deal to get RID OF HIM. RW is SO BITTER, they don't have enough sweetener (young players n picks). They really only have TNT, Nunn plus the 2027 1st and 2029 1st.

Those players just are not as good as what they had to give up in the AD deal.

I said all along in 2022, the Warriors may not be the best team, but they have a solid chance in the playoffs if they can get injury free play from Steph, Klay, Green and Wiggins. I just really believe in that combination of veteran players. I may or may not pick them next season in 2023 to win it all, but I think they will be in that top tier in the West with Phx, Memphis and Dallas.

He is. And a Laker hater.

He’s negative against every LA team in every sport. This is nothing new. Of course he’s going to say he’s not of course, but he is and I can easily find all of his negative posts about the Rams. Pretty sure the Dodgers too although I haven’t really been paying that much attention to that thread because Michaels has ruined it for me.

I guess we just have to remember that most of this site isn’t from Southern California. They certainly have no loyalty to our teams. No accounting for taste man.

I wouldn’t lose too much sleep over his predictions.

I’m not saying you’re saying anything about the Warriors I’m just saying in general the media and fans going crazy about this championship like it’s the team that won 73 games a few years ago (of course that team choked which was awesome). It’s a far cry from that. I think the title is wide open next year I don’t know why anyone thinks otherwise. It’s just really strange. There is such a love in the media of Steph Curry and that’s fine and all but the Warriors are not the best team in basketball. They weren’t this year and they won’t be next year. If they win a lot of things will have to go right again. You can’t really tell me that Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are getting better. They’re not. The other guys are helping out more but Andrew Wiggins is still Andrew Wiggins. He hasn’t taken some giant leap to superstardom no matter what anyone wants to say because he has a ring now.

Andrew Wiggins was in the right place at the right time. He just fit. Like a better Harrison Barnes. He was able to take the scoring load off a rehabbing and still not 100% Klay Thompson. His 3 point shooting has been better in GS, also his defense is much better. Had several games with some timely buckets. But a MAX $ guy, NO.... I agree with you.

Really he is only going to be on the Warriors next season (2022-23), then someone else is going to over pay him for his late prime (late 20s) and possible decline years (early 30s).

Hopefully after that, younger Warriors like Jordan Poole (age 22), Jonathan Kuminga (age 19) and James Wiseman (age 21) will be able to take on more of the secondary scoring role as Curry and Thompson further decline with age in 2024.

Also if the Warriors opt not to resign Wiggins, they will have $30 mil to spend on someone else in 2023-24. It gets REAL interesting in 2024-25 if the Warriors don't bring back Klay or Green, they would have about $70 Million to spend on Free Agents, that puts them in line for several BIG Name guys who will be available, Warriors ownership has shown they will spend well into the Luxury Tax to bring in the right guys. It could be a KD type situation all over again. Hell maybe KD himself comes back....lol....

I do think you nailed Andrew Wiggins perfectly for the Warriors. He is an upgraded version of Harrison Barnes. Good analogy.
