The story that the Lakers are the only team interested in a sign and trade screams to me like a leak from the Nets. I get he is unpredictable, but it an't be true that no one wants to give him the money. I get why the Nets didn't, but this would all be over if they had just paid him.

Kyrie is a million dollar talent with a 50 cent brain. Westbrook is a thousand dollar talent with a 25% three point shot.

I could see KD making another title run. Maybe get lucky and have 1 year with limited or no injuries.

When you see him putting up 30 PPG last season, you just think he is still that scoring machine over any defense. Then with those two 39 point games in the playoffs.



I guess easy for me to say...... when I am not risking paying him $45 mil per year.

Well, that was short-lived drama. Not sure what Kyrie was doing. Maybe the Nets just said we’re not trading you so either opt in or opt out?

Love on what planet did you ever think Kevin Durant would agree to play with Russell Westbrook again? Let alone a Westbrook who is as horrible now as he is. The Lakers made their stupid bed with him now they’re stuck with it. That was literally the dumbest trade in the history of the organization. Seriously I can’t think of a worse move than bringing in this clown. Nobody fucking wants him. Nobody. You couldn’t give him away for a bag of peanuts.

And having to see Kyrie Irving in a Lakers uniform I don’t literally think I could watch the team anymore.

I didn't necessarily mean that literally. Obviously, some people were explaining how some 3-team deals work. But it seems as if Kyrie at least considered the MLE for the Lakers, but the odds of that happening versus $40 million are pretty slim.

IF you get Kyrie, it makes it easier to do something about Russ.

But we know now, especially now that he has opted in, we're running it back. Woohoo! ;-)
