It's like VH was the most broke band in history that had no enthusiasm for behind the scene glimpses (probably couldn't put the coke down long enough) or their management never had the foresight to be creative. They were obviously still getting along in 1981.

They had their schtick all worked out, including the harmony vocals with the "hellos," which I couldn't imagine another hard rock band doing. They're laughing but you can tell they're on "business." It was the ascending phase of the band and they were going places, literally and figuratively. When they hit the "big time" in 1984, they stopped doing this and rarely went overseas. But in 1981, you really see them working it.

I suppose we were lucky that LWAN was filmed. I know it's not OG material but it was a great tour and that video is awesome in so many ways. That too needs an upgrade though. I mean in a few weeks I am going to see a movie of the Doors at the Hollywood Bowl from 1968. They cleaned up the film to the best possible sound mixed and mastered it from the original guy that hit the record button in the 60's! It has other camera angles added in as well as a recent interview from John and Robby. it is being shown one night only in select movie theaters across the country.

How cool would it be to see an classic 80's VH concert on a giant movie screen with the latest technology and clear picture? A pre movie interview with Dave and Alex (possibly Mike)? I'm not sure I could handle the wait! Lol

BTW that Beatles film looks awesome and I cannot wait to see it!

Yeah, it's a great one. One problem I have is it always makes me think man we could have ALSO had one that quality from less than two years prior on the 1984 tour.

Didnít Don go with Ted to work on Daveís first album after the breakup? I may be wrong but I thought I read that somewhere.....
