Default Weird problem w/Peavey Wolfgang Special and Boss Katana Air wireless transmitter

I've had a Peavey Wolfgang Special since '98 and have never used it with my Boss Katana Air. The other night I hooked it up to the Boss's wireless transmitter and it worked for about one minute, and then shut off. I plugged the transmitter in to charge, thinking it was just out of juice. It charged for some time, and I hooked it up to the Peavey Wolfgang Special again. Once more, it worked for about a minute, and then stopped. It then had to be recharged again.

The same thing happens every time I try to use it. This does not happen with any other guitar I own.

Why is my stock Peavey Wolfgang Special draining my Boss wireless transmitter?

    EDIT

It has had some soldering work in the area of the guitar's input jack done in the distant past.

A stock Peavey Wolfgang Special's electronics are about as simple as you can get. Nothing out of the ordinary compared to other guitars. You're positive it's not happening with other guitars?

The Wolfgang pickups are a bit on the hot side for some wireless units. I haven't run into that issue with newer digital tech, but I have with some older wireless systems. Does the Katana wireless transmitter have a input clipping indicator and maybe shuts down due to that?

I don't think that's the case. It works fine with my Fender EVH Wolfgang, my Charvel SoCal, my Les Paul, etc.

And, it's not just shutting off. The battery is drained and I have to recharge it. It's weird.

Yeah that's totally bizarre. No idea here dude. Like I said, there's nothing special about a stock Wolfgang Special's wiring. Other than the tone pot it'd be exactly the same as your Fender/EVH Wolf.

I'm curious more about the transmitter , like why is it a stereo jack?
is it slightly longer or fatter and causing a short that is draining the battery maybe?
I would take an ohm meter to the circuit with everything off and check for shorts in the circuit.
I SURVIVED TEXAS LINKERS WEEKEND I, II, III, IV and VI and VII.barely made it to VIII time to slow down
I musta had a broken middle finger for V
