Default MITCH MALLOY'S VAN HALEN EXPERIENCE

"Mitch Malloy, the lead singer of iconic rock band Great White, hit solo artist, awarding-winning songwriter and producer, was also chosen to replace Sammy Hagar in Van Halen. Soon after Eddie's death, Rolling Stone Magazine reached out to Mitch to gain insight into his time with the band. Mitch's story was so intriguing that his interview evolved into a Feature for Rolling Stone. For years fans have asked Mitch to perform Van Halen so they can have a glimpse into what the legendary band would have sounded like with Mitch fronting. These requests keeping pouring in, so...For one night only, Mitch will be hosting a Celebration of Van Halen with an A-List band".

    LOL

    The band:
Pete Thorn (!) on guitar, @Daniel Spriewald (Phil X of Bon Jovi) on bass and Wayne Killius (Keith Urban, Big And Rich, Luke Bryan) on drums.

"Stupid neighbors called the cops/Now the party's over/Angry housewife wants my name/Tell her it's 'Ben Dover"

Sammy Hagar made Van Halen even better. Deal with it.

I’m curious as to how this is going to sound. Although, Mitch in VH was 25 years ago. Voice might be a bit different.

Yep... this guy has got to be the most celebrated/discussed singer that auditioned for a band and didn't get the job in history. I don't get the continued interest...

A show by Mitch Malloy and a band playing VH covers seems weird to me, and I can't imagine there is any type of demand for this. Ed flirted with him as a possible third VH singer for a short time in 1996, but the guy did not become the singer and has no part of the actual VH legacy.

I guess there is no harm if he just does this one show, and it is not like he will be making any significant money for this one small show, but it is not something I am interested in whatsoever.
