They sound very good.....I would have loved to have heard the rest of "Stone." I think this song demands a nice ripping jam for a minute or two at the end to wind down their set. Unleash the beast so to speak.

I also love that drum kit! The dark gray color is super sharp.

The rest of Stone is right before Distance in the next video

My son-in-law went last night....said Wolf’s got a good voice.

He also said Axl sounded awful, he’d have rather hear Guns’ set as an instrumental.

Go Wolfie though! the exposure from this tour will be huge.
Completely disagree. This kind of thinking would be akin to an unknown band out of Pasadena in 1978 not getting a chance to open for an old popular band like Black Sabbath.

That's not too shocking. Axl has had a lot of issues over the years.

Was there last night, 8th row on Slash's side. Great seats. Wolfie was awesome. The band was tight and sounded great. Guns was great too, but Axl was having issues with his mic all night. He was constantly talking to the crew when his vocals weren't needed and left the stage almost every song during solos to try and get it sorted out. It definitely affected him. He started out rough, but actually got better as the show went on. He did miss some vocal cues like during Dead Horse. He was up and down, but the band was awesome as usual. I'm surprised Axl held his temper in check because a few times he was tossing the mic stand in frustration. He eventually threw the mic into the crowd at the end of the concert. I think Guns were even on late due to the mic issue because they were ready for 8 but it was around 8:20 or so when they came on. Their crew were working on it during that 20 minutes or so.

The only complaint with Wolfie is stage presence, but that's him. He is thankful for the opportunity and said so a couple of different times. His voice is great and I don't think the band made any noticeable mistakes. The crowd was into him at times like Don't Back Down, You're to Blame, and The Distance...at least in my area.

yeah the stage presence, or lack thereof, would kind of kill it for me. Hope he does well but not a band I would be super interested in seeing live. I like the whole "frontman" thing. If he ever comes to Toronto I'll probably check him out just of curiosity and because of his last name.

I saw GNR in 2016, I can't even remember who opened. They are there to see GNR. Of course they are bored with WVH.
