Striped Series HB Swap
Just wanted to show how easy is was to put a Duncan Custom Custom in a EVH Striped Series. Just have to round the base plate corners and legs with a Dremel cutoff disk, drill legs to match the EVH HB screw holes, and cut the bobbin screw length so they don't dig into the body.... better than putting the coils onto the EVH baseplate in my opinion. Sounds a lot more like DD-FW era VH than the stock HB.

fwiw in the past the folks at Seymour Duncan have said they'll make any of their pickups with different base plates and that that have to be ordered through the custom shop. Now whether or not they still do it or if they cost more I don't know. post #9
