Yes we had that same show in the 70s here as well. I was very little when it was on. Lakers announcer Chick Hearn was the host of it. Lots of cities had it back in the day.

    Edit
Beauty is life when life unveils
    her holy face.

But you are life and you
    are the veil.

Beauty is eternity gazing at itself
    in a mirror.

    But you are eternity
    and you are the mirror.

Guys from Great White and Slaughter I know would hang there. But yes Slash sat and actually watched me bowl for a few minutes and said dude youíre good. Definitely a weird time.
Used to be pretty serious about bowling. The joints said they didn't like it anymore, plus having kids took up the time. Bowled 3 games a week or so ago, first time in probably 4 years. Ouch. But I did okay, considering. Might start back at some point. I wouldn't mind getting another crack at an 800 series again.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -
