5 Down: How is this not vanhagar?! It's not mammoth, daddy long legs, trojan rubber company, etc. I give up!

26 Across: Their home venue? Pasadena Civic Center? Staples Center? The Forum? None of those fit. EDIT: Ok, I was close on one of the guesses and I finally figured it out. Tricky.

37 Across: So classy! I thought for sure we were going to be talking about Sacred Sin here...

45 Across: Sam vs Dave daily. I have no idea what that is referring to besides it being a train wreck and a way to close threads around here

I got 5 Down now, but I'm still stuck on 37 across. EDIT: Ok, I get it now. Here I was trying to remember the spanish translation.....

I was able to get about 2/3 of those without looking anything up. About half of the remaining I just needed quick reminders via a google search, to spell check, or confirm. The last 1/4 or so I had to look up because I just didn't know it off the top of my head, i.e. the longest track on OU812 (although in retrospect, I probably should have guessed that).

Hey thanks for playing! I fixed the misspelled name, but that made the whole puzzle reshuffle itself. So those clues you mention above are now numbered differently. A new challenge!

so what is now 11 down and 61 down is the same answer? appears so!

thanks to bsbll4 I was able to get what is now 10 down, but the only one keeping me now is 6 across and i'll probably feel dumb when i find out what $50 and a _____ is!
