Which Of Wolf's Songs Will Likely Be A Classic Years From Now?
I am not a musician, although some of y'all are. Wolf, and a few other posters, have spoken about his multi layered approach; give songs a few listens, and you will hear things that you didn't hear the first go round. To be honest, I am not hearing it. Then again, I don't have the ears of a musician.
I am totally floored by Wolfs' album; it's the first album I have gotten excited about since ADKOT. For although his music doesn't fit my early to mid 80's tastes, his album is that good. And his singing is so good that, given time, I think that he will earn his place in history as being one of rock's most diverse singers; I think he's that good.
Out of the selection of songs on the album, aside from 'Distance', which one of Wolf's songs do you think is destined to be a classic? For me, I think 'Resolve' is the song that will be played, years from now."It wasn't Ed's playing that inspired me, it was his spirit. The playing was merely a manifestation of that spirit." - Speedway
"Van Halen with DLR was "my band," VH with Sam was a band I liked." - Dave's Dreidel
"Eddie may have passed, but he will NEVER die!"

I am enjoying Wolf's album very much...Mr Ed is one of my favorites, but I don't see much of any modern music being "classic." With the way music is turned out nowadays there isn't much room for it to last forever on rock radio or the public conscience. The only one that would stand a chance of being remembered 10 years from now is probably Distance and that it due to why it was released. IMO.
Rest in Peace Edward Van Halen

You should watch it, but it's... dare I say... boring. At least the Buzz character is.
