I'm wondering whether there is ever gonna be a BOV2 released. VH has had enough hits to make a BOV2 and BOV3 in my opinion. My guess for a track listing for a second one given they use hit singles along with notable tracks would be:
1. You Really Got Me
2. Jamie's Cryin'
3. Beautiful Girls
4. Everybody Wants Some!!
5. Mean Street
6. So This Is Love?
7. Little Guitars
8. Cathedral
9. Hot For Teacher
10. I'll Wait
11. Best of Both Worlds
12. Love Walks In
13. Finish What Ya Started
14. Feels So Good
15. Top The World
16. Don't Tell Me (what love can do)...
give or take a few songs and hopefully they'd throw in those 3 tunes they did with DLR last summer.

I think (Oh) Pretty Woman and Somebody Get Me a Doctor should be on there.

Best Of's are not really intended for hard core fans, they are used to entice casual listeners and to spark an interest in the back catalogue. And beyond a few songs that weren't on the first one (Hot For Teacher, Finish What Ya Started, Pretty Woman, You Really Got Me), there aren't many VH song titles left that would grab the eye of any casual rock fan.
And once you've used up the songs for the second BOV on your list, what would be on the 3rd one? And I'm talking about songs that would be recognizable to non hard core fans.
For example, I think Little Guitars is the best VH song of all, but I would highly doubt many people would recognize the title (much less the song itself) and be inclined to buy another Best Of because they see it on there. There's a ton of great VH songs left, but very few that would serve the purpose of a Best Of album.

I agree with you. So-called "best of's" are usually consisting of songs easily recognizable by the public... therefore either hit singles, or airplay hits, or other well-knows due to what reasons ever, plus maybe throwing one or two new songs in the mix, so it's also worth a buy for the hardcore fans.
As much as I love VH's music, I don't think there's more than one album of the above mentioned stuff left, especially not over here in Europe.
