That is true but I’m just glad I was able to see VH when I did….and now hoping to see Wolfgang live.

This is an incredible opportunity for Wolf to get in front of a huge # of rock fans.

Slash has been cranking out new solid rock tunes the past decade or 2 with his solo band. Duff has a few new songs as well. Would it be interesting to hear a few new Axl songs, sure, but the majority of the ticket buying public is not demanding it.
    You're wasting your time.

This is the kind of guy that still thinks Metallica "sold out" with The Black Album

And again it's hilarious that a lot of people are dismissing the headlining act for an unproven opening slot due to last name only.

If you're not there for Guns and Roses then stay home and watch it on YouTube.

I hear that all the time, and I shrug it off. The Black Album is killer. While I love every song that became a radio/video/arena hit, my favorite songs on the album after Sad But True are Of Wolf and Man, Holier Than Thou, and Through the Never.
    I miss Eddie Van Halen.

Good point Chris. If Wolf’s last name was Smith, no way he gets this slot. Love or hate GNR, they have major respect for VH. Pretty easy call for them to help Eddie’s son anyway they can. I suspect they want to help Wolf anyway they can given his lineage and their love/respect for Ed/VH. Pretty cool they are doing this...

The real test for Mammoth VH is will he be the headliner a few years from now?
