Just got word that the best Japanese metal band ever will be returning to the US for the first time in 7 years.

I wasn't into Loudness, but had this on vinyl and would crank it to 11 'cause the chunky chops sound so kick ass and it's just a cool song.
The tone is like candy to my ears.

I liked Loudness through the mid-80's. They actually lost me when they started doing more pop metal English language records. "Road Racer" was my favorite tune of theirs....
I saw them twice, once opening for Motley Crue in mid-85 and once months prior during an industry showcase gig at the Country Club in Reseda around the time they released their first English language album. That club show, they brought their own arena sized PA to a venue that held less then 1,000 people and it was easily one of the loudest concerts I've ever experienced. It was the funniest thing seeing all these suit n' tie record execs cramming drink napkins in their ears, it was so piercingly loud.
I would have liked to see them when they had the guy (who appears to be heavily influenced by Axl Rose) from EZO fronting them in the early 90's....
