I was introduced to FUCK as a 15 year old so this will always be my favourite Sammy album followed by 5150 then Balance and then OU812 which I still think is a great album.

    Thumbs up

I love me some Oh You Ate One too?! It's probably the =VH= album i've played the most in my life. Mainly because I love the variety of the songs on it. They all sound so different. Songs like Feels So Good sound nothing like Finish What Ya Started.

When It's Love, Feels So Good, Mine All Mine, Finish What Ya Started & A.F.U. (Naturally Wired) are my favorites!

Judgement Day and Pleasure Dome > everything else on FUCK.

Why Judgement Day wasn't a leadoff single is mind boggling. Great riffs, hooks, melody & solo.

Pleasure Dome is an absolute chore to play correctly, even if you have a TransTrem. Love the clean intro.

The Japanese Forever Young Remaster sounds a bit better than the OG, but it still lacks some sonics overall.

Live versions of Mine All Mine with more guitar sound better, but that song is still great on the album.

When Its Love still gives me goosebumps. That song is worth price of admission alone regardless (I know some guitar die hards might disagree that it isn't the core of VH, but a good song is a good song.)

I swear I remember hearing they intentionally went outside of the box on some stuff because they felt invincible.

My favs: When Its Love, AFU, Source of Infection, Black and Blue.

PS - I know there are a lot of comments album VS live version & I'd just like to put my unpopular opinion that I like listening to all the studio songs from FUCK, in order, on Live Right Here Right Now because there are no guitar overdubs (that's ripe for puns all things considered) and it sounds more akin to old school VH with Sammy singing.

I think the really good stuff was probably done when they first started the recording process. I believe they ran into a huge time crunch due to the MOR tour and the tunes they did during that time are probably the ones most people feel aren't as good. Just my own opinion.

Hmmm, the only one that could be argued was not fully done is "SOI". Now you may not like every tune but none of the rest sound unfinished or demo-like. Maybe I'm missing your point.

OU812 was the most diverse album from the Sammy era and my 2nd favorite after 5150. I liked every Sammy era album a little less than its predecessor.
