Eddie Solo Spot 1986: I'd never seen this footage
I am sure this isn't the proper place to post this, but Main captures the most eyes.
I'd never seen footage from the 86 tour of Ed with short hair, nor any live footage ever of him playing Fur Elise during a solo.
So if you gotta move it, so be it.
But I've watched everything I can find on Van Halen on the net that I could find, and in 20 or so years of doing that, I have never seen this.
It was posted in January of this year and popped up in recommended on youtube.
Still cool, but felt this was a good place to post it and generate conversation or sharing of links like it.

Also, if anyone listens at around 3:17 and immediately onwards.
That has some serious flavor of the solo from A Year to the Day.

I posted it well over two weeks ago. Blew my mind when I saw it. I was there but not on that night Ed cut his hair.
It's incredible footage and it was only a night or two from the show I attended and my very first concert ever.

Oh, right on. This can be deleted then. I just happened to see it today.
It was a revelation to me, and especially that solo spot....there are licks in it that found there way into that Year to the Day solo, definitely.
