Beautiful "little" piece. Proves once again that music can be very touching.

Have heard it for the fourth time just now. Obvious and already stated out are elements of Jump and Spanish Fly. I (think I) also heard some Josephina, Dirty Water Dog in there. But maybe that is just me and I am trying too hard to find some Eddie elements. (what do I know, I use notes to show me which things to hit ). Not sure if Nancy would be familiar with "newer" Van Halen. At the same time those VH III-ish elements sound simply typical Nancy, such as around the 0:35 mark. Sounds Crazy On You-ish or like Leghead's Lament from her McCabe's liver acoustic album.

Part of me thinks there is a homage to Dance the Night Away in the middle. Could be wrong.

When I heard she was going to do a tribute, I thought she simply was going to name an acoustic song for Eddie and that was it. Sort of like how 316 was dedicated to Wolfgang even though he was playing for years. However she actually wrote a real tribute by incorporating parts of his music into something that sounds original but does borrow from his musical ideas. Very classy and beautiful
