Kevin Gausman is another one. Having a Cy Young season so far with SF. 7-1 1.43 ERA, .784 WHIP, 97K's in 81 inns.
Definitely no indication of this potential when he was in Baltimore.

just not happening for the Marlins - making it to like 1 below .500 I guess is going to be their highpoint of the season. You can talk injuries, but sometimes teams just don't have it. The pitcher pitches a great game, he gets no run support; the team scores a bunch of runs, the other team scores more. Just one of those years but sucks after the potential shown last year.

Gausman showed some promise in Baltimore along with some guy named Arrieta. The Orioles are cursed with 5 decades of shitty owners.

I know I haven’t been happy with Gary Sanchez this season but lately he’s been hitting well. Absolutely crushed a ball for a pinch-hit go ahead HR last night.

deGrom left the game last night after pitching 3 perfect innings (and driving in another run at the plate). Of the nine batters he faced...8 K's.

Sore shoulder this time. That sucks. I guess these things are bound to happen when you throw that hard.

He's in the middle of an historic season so far. Lowered his ERA to 0.54.

Didn’t expect NYY to sweep Toronto. As good as the Blue Jays hitters are, their bullpen was not very good in the series.

The Blue Jays bullpen hasn't been good the past month. They had the best bullpen in the MLB at the beginning of the season, now they have one of the worst! But many of them are injured. It was gross that Toronto had the lead in all 3 games, and lost them all at the end of the games. Especially when they were up 5-2.

Pitching was always going to be the thing that held Toronto back. It certainly wasn't their bats.

Although, the ugly baserunning bug hit Toronto the last couple games. Good to see it happening to someone other than the Yankees.

I spoke with one of my largest customers about an hour ago. He is from New York and is a HUGE Mets fan. He moved to the Bay area in the 80s. We were discussing the 1988 NLCS and World Series. He told me that when this happened, his friend's dad actually had a heart attack and dropped dead ...
