    The Orioles.

Combine that with Strasburg being done for the year, and our farm system being the worst in MLB, I am ok with it the firesale.

Better to do what we did yesterday than to have Scherzer sign in free agency in the off season, and then us not be able to extend Turner next year.

Look at it this way. 7 of the top 30 ranked players in the Nationals farm system we got in trades yesterday.

Not saying it doesn't suck, I hate to lose a SS like Trea Turner, they don't grow on trees, but you have to take emotion out of it as a GM and do what is best. Rizzo didn't want to get rid of either Scherzer or Turner. Him and Scherzer are buddies, and Rizzo has always said that getting Turner was the best trade he has ever made.
oh, I get it. Just whether you win or lose should not be decided because you can't afford it. Ridiculous system.

And I'm not sure that you can judge anything based on ridiculous interleague play - Washington is the only team in the east with a winning record against american league teams this year - so, Orioles aside, must be doing something right!

    DAMN.. .short memory

Corey Seager was World Series and NLCS MVP just last season in 2020...lol...

Both are obviously great players. Dodgers are so loaded with CASH in ownership, they could keep both.

LOL No, I haven't forgotten. I would just prefer Turner over Seager if I had to choose. It's not a dig on Seager at all. Both great players. And, like we've both said, LA will probably keep them both.

Toronto is fun to watch. Nice pickup.

Steep price though..... Maybe a better package then what the Nats got for Max S/Turner.......?? maybe a few years before we can tell though....

shortstop/outfielder Austin Martin, who is Toronto's No. 2-ranked prospect per MLB Pipeline, and right-hander Simeon Woods Richardson, ranked No. 4, to the Twins in exchange.

Both prospects are in AA. Could be MLB ready in 2022 or 23....

Trey Turner should play before Bellinger.

Bellinger batting clean up with his average is a total joke. This guy is LOST.

Hurt or not , the guy is shook.

Just because he was an MVP doesnít mean he is still an MVP. Heís a long ways away from hitting 49 homers again

I havenít honestly thought that much about it since this just trade just happened. I really really like Seager so I hope he stays a Dodger forever.

The only issue is heís been getting hurt a lot in the last few seasons, but getting hit on the hand wasnít his fault thereís nothing he couldíve done to control that. So thatís the only thing that worries me about him.

    Completely understand that sentiment.

White Sox get Kimbrel. Thought he might go back to Boston.

Turner gives the Dodgers an incredible amount of flexibility. He plays multiple positions, can be a table setter or a power guy.

With Betts and Bellinger under performing this year, it's a great pick up for them. And more than likely not having Bauer for the rest of the year, getting Scherzer AND keeping him away from the Padres.

Good day if you are a Dodger fan.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.
