Kenley Jansen has cost the Dodgers so many games in the last four years I can’t tell you and even playoff games. I swear if they would just get a good closer they would never lose. And yeah I’m not the biggest Dave Roberts fan, I think he’s kind of stupid when it comes to making pitching changes and his moves usually backfire actually.

Jansen is done I don’t know what the fuck it’s going to take for this organization to figure that out. For a team that wins as many games as the Dodgers do and as dominant as they have been with a great front office, they have been just as equally fucking stupid when it comes to this guy. The Dodgers win in spite of Jansen, not because of him.

Marlins have some good young pitchers. I was happy they were able to win a playoff series last year. Hopefully they groom that talent properly...and Jeter & Co can hold on to those players.

A couple of years ago, a lady I grew up with and who is a fellow Dodger fanatic texted me, "Are Roberts and Kenley lovers?" Then, last October, after Jansen blew game 4 of the World Series, I was talking on the phone with my dad. He said to me, "Your mom thinks Jansen has something on Roberts."

I wouldn't worry about it.

The Nationals were something like 13-27 at the quarter pole a few years ago and won the World Series. And there is no way the Phillies win the East. It's super early, and there are still going to be teams with bare bone rosters due to COVID for a while (Nationals right now for example), so buckle in, it's going to be a wild ride.

Yeah, he has been toast for the past few years. Hasn't been elite since 2017.

Dodgers usually have other bullpen guys in actual "HIGHER LEVERAGE" relief situations. These often come in the 6th, 7th and 8th.

Dodgers also have some bullpen injury issues right now with Graterol and Kelly. Those guys will get more use when they come back.

With his salary $$, they will most likely just keep putting Jansen out there in the beginning of 9th and start him with a clean inning. He will probably continue at the 75% to 80% save%. Blow a few for sure.

But when the Dodgers start building a big lead in the standings, it won't matter much in Regular season. They just have to figure it out by playoffs. If he still sucks, they can also just have Urias or Treinen close games again.

He's been ok. Dodger fans are so spolied with that roster that a formerly elite reliever that's been just ok the past 3 years is the biggest issue.

That team is stacked. I can see how the bullpen becomes a major talking point as everything us is near perfect.

Ridiculous ending. If a questionable call is going to end the game, it should be reviewable--especially one as bad as that. The pitch was going to be strike 3!!
