Not sure how that idea is getting so much publicity, it was never on the table, or does Mike say otherwise? Sorry, on a work computer and I can't watch videos.

It was on the table between Ed, Sam and Wolf, that's been confirmed. Did it ever make it to Dave's "table?" That's the big unknown. Dave hasn't given an interview since Ed passed. I guess we'll know eventually.

Still would've much preferred the original 2019 CVH tour that Dave originally referred to in interviews.

Agreed. I would have spent a fortune on any meet and greet opportunities with the original lineup. Would have been a dream come true.

I highly doubt that it was nothing more than a passing comment and a "wouldn't that be cool?"

By the time Ed and Sam were texting each other, everyone knew that Ed would never tour again. Was probably something nice to talk about to take Ed's head away from what he was going through, but it was never really on the table.

Wolf mentioned that he was putting together setlists for the sink tour and "Get Up" was on there and Dave asked, what song is that? Wolf told him it's a Sam song. So did Dave buy in yet? Who knows but he knew about it.

The Kitchen Sink Tour was a conversation between Wolf and Ed in late 2019-2020 when Ed was, by all accounts, already quite sick. Probably as a “Do you think this would be cool?”

They didn’t cancel the 2019 CVH plans only to start tabling an all/inclusive tour with Sam and Mike.

Nothing was on the table.

I thought Wolf said on Stern , Ed got sick with the brain tumor, but he came thru that alright and that's when the kitchen sink idea was being worked up.
But then he got sick again and that was the end of it

I think that actually occurred before the first reunion tour with Dave, and the reason it was in there is because they were rehearsing tunes from both the Roth years and the Hagar years before deciding which vocalist to reconnect with.

Yeah, when it was still just Ed, Al and Wolf, before they called Dave, I am sure they were jamming songs from all eras (well, maybe not ALL...sorry Gary).

I think you're mixing up timelines. Pretty sure I saw Wolf said the Get Up story was when they first put a setlist together for 2007 tour during one of his radio interviews.
