Exactly +1. Its so great, and I can't oversell how awesome they feel. YMMV.

I've had mine for a little bit now, so I would say the Honeymoon period is probably passed. I have to say that it is probably my favorite guitar to play from a "Feel" perspective. The neck on it is absolutely awesome!. Once I got it set up and stable, I love it more and more every time I play it. It isn't the most versatile tone-wise obviously, but you can actually achieve quite a bit of range from turning the volume up and down.

Yes, for sure, the volume is really a ďToneĒ knob.

Anyone wire up the neck pickup yet? I really want to, but it sounds so fantastic right now, I donít want to mess that up.

I had considered wiring it up, but honestly, I rarely play on the neck pickup for the kinds of songs that I would play this guitar on. If I need the neck pickup, I have a strat and a tele for that.

I ordered a push/push pot for mine to activate the neck pickup. Iíll post a video clip and my opinion of it whenever I install it.

I have the Franky relic. The feel of the neck is the same as the 2009 USA Charvel San Dimas I have...

Congratulations on your new frankie. I bought one last August for $1700. Added reflectors, quarter, neckplate with SN, and cleaned the fretboard. Played great but just can't get into relic'ed/beat up guitars.

Sold it in December for $2600. My favorite will always be my Kramer 5150....

Sorry this took so long. My switch shipped Monday from a town about 2 hours north of me but JUST GOT DELIVERED TODAY (thanks USPS). I dig having the neck pickup!

    Couple of things:

    1) it's pretty dang bright with the 500k volume pot. I'm in the process of moving and most of my electronics stuff is packed up right now but I'll probably end up adding a resistor on the switch to change the value that the single coil sees when it is activated. Seems like that's what Suhr and Tom Anderson do on their SSH guitars.

    2) I didn't mess with the height any but obviously there's a volume drop with the single coil being basically flush to the body. It's definitely usable like this with gain though.

    Pickup sounds good!

And some tasty playing there as well, man!

Awesome! Sounds Great! Some tasty licks Brother! I'll have to go with the push/pull option as well. Thanks for sharing.
