Ralph has become his own vocalist (and a damn good one) over the last 10 years and it shows here. He's kinda lost the DLR cues a bit but when he was in the Punks there simply was nobody else out there aside from DLR himself who could sound that much like DLR. He literally nailed every nuance in his voice. It was actually unsettling at times at how good he sounded.

During the guitar solo he shoulda grabbed his "Oakland scarf" out of the dryer.

They are good covers but hearing them also just show you how good VH was along with the production team. These guys know their VH. Like the rules at All American Burger, they live it. Yet there is obviously something that that doesn't breathe with these version. Not ripping SP. Just complimenting how good VH was even at the beginning of their journey.

    Good covers though!!!

Pretty cool. The whole virtual thing for me is old already. Too bad, because I don't think you'll be seeing live performances anytime soon. Covid-1984 is here.

Wow...so that is the lead singer from the Van Halen tribute band the Atomic Punks? If so, I seen them back in Indiana in 2000, he was messing with me big time. He had me sing a little bit, and he told me where he was going next and for me to leave the boyfriend at home. Lol. He's somethin else..if that's him that is I've watched theBeautiful girls vid several times today My mind is kinda blown, haha

    That’s an awesome concert story.

    Ralph Saenz is his name.

I just Googled him out of curiosity and it says that he was the leader singer of The Punks for 14 years (94-08’) and he’s 55 years old. Would have never thought he was that “old”.

I saw the Atomic Punks with Ralph several times between 2000 and 2003, including this show at The Anaheim House of Blues, which at the time was at Downtown Disney...

Absolutely not..looks more like 40ish. I was the only girl he messed with that night. He liked to put his hand on my thigh and my husband would pick it up and throw it off. The bouncer even came and stood with us and I kept telling them "It's just an act, he's playing David Lee Roth!" I was drunk and having fun singing along. It's a good thing my husband is so cool. He didn't get mad at me. That's so funny. I had no clue that was him. He's got a great voice, acts just like Dave and very entertaining.

I saw the Punks with Ralph several times in the laten90s early 2000s with Ralph. Got to talk with both he and Scott, the drummer, a couple times. Really good dudes and very humble.

When my cousin and I saw VH in 04 at the Staples center, before the show we spotted Ralph sitting a few rows up from us on the floor. I had an Atomic Punks shirt on and my cousin said just go up there turn around and stand right in front of him. Lol, I did and at first Ralph was looking the other way talking to who I assume was his wife. She saw me and my shirt and Ralph noticed her smile and then turned and saw me and my shirt. He laughed and said, "nice shirt!" I shook his hand and replied, "yeah, they're a great band, you should check em out sometime." He got a kick out of that.

The next night, my cousin and I went and watched the Punks play at Universal Walk. Ralph saw us and tried to get me to come up and sing the breakdown to ATBL, but I wouldn't do it lol.
