5150 tour Eddie solo spot

Has this new video (Dec 2020) of Eddie's solo spot on the 5150 tour ever been posted before? I've never seen this camera angle.

Yes have seen this it’s very cool. The guy that posted it toured with BTO he posted another video on his channel..He also said he didn’t film any more footage.

Great footage, I watched it several weeks ago. He really didn't have that much gain but you can tell he has the amp cranked and he had strong hands. A lot of sustain.

Yeah but the LWAN solo didn't have Fur Elise, and didn't have that other unreleased bit this one has. Glad to have heard both. I think Ed's solo spot on the 5150 was still pretty improvised, it changed a lot from night to night. I think as time went by he started playing the same stuff night after night on subsequent tours.

If he was standing there all night Ed's solo was the only part of the show he actually got to see. Filming over that 50 foot wall woulda been a problem. LOL.

Its terrific but I wouldn't go that far. There are a LOT of better live solos by Ed, but that was just the first one professionally filmed to be officially released to a wide audience so LWAN has a huge amount of nostalgia attached to it.
