Old Van Halen website goodies
I've recently used the Internet Archive Way Back Machine to access the long gone versions of the VH website and found some awesome stuff. With the demise of adobe flash, much of it doesn't work as it should, but it is navigable. One of the cool things I found was two versions of the video to "Once" both with 1998 very low grade video and a watermark owned by David Bertinelli. It would be amazing to see the original higher grade videos. Also is a section called "The Unlist" that contained lists of things like album leftovers, unreleased live covers and demos, and alternate takes. I remember seeing this 20+ years ago and still the alternate takes just says "under construction". At one point I found many of the song titles and brief descriptions of the songs to the Cherone follow up album. If anyone has suggestions of getting this site to work better let me know. I did not try downloading and installing 25 year old versions of flash so that may be a solution. Here's the link to the Once videos https://web.archive.org/web/20010210...ideo/once.html

The official V-H website was virtual treasure-trove of history and interesting band materials from 1998 - 2002.
As far as band websites during that time period it was one of the best and most comprehensive. It's a shame none of that is easily available today. I'm sure all data and artifacts are stored away somewhere in backups in bobo's basement... but probably no way to get any of it resurrected.
Woke up this mornin, got Blue Moon in your eyes...

Biden is so old looking and decrepit that he makes me long for Obama again. Just a little.
