Here’s a little exercise that I saw on another message board. I don’t know if it’s been done here before, I thought it would be fun. It puts a different spin on “top albums” or “favorite bands” lists. You just name your top five albums by your top five bands/artists. Here’s mine...

    Led Zeppelin
    - Physical Graffiti
    - IV
    - Houses of the Holy
    - II
    - III

    Rush
    - Moving Pictures
    - Permanent Waves
    - Hemispheres
    - A Farewell to Kings
    - 2112

    AC/DC
    - Back in Black
    - Highway to Hell
    - Let There Be Rock
    - Powerage
    - High Voltage

    Van Halen
    - Fair Warning
    - Van Halen
    - Women and Children First
    - Van Halen II
    - 1984

    Metallica
    - Master of
    - Ride the Lightning
    - ...And Justice For All
    - Metallica
    - Kill ‘Em All

I'm too lazy to do this, mine is very similar to Brett's, so there you go.

    Good idea though.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Many bands don't have 5 albums worth mentioning. They have a few great albums, and other great songs spread over many albums. So I don't have an opinion on any band's top five albums.

The one band I didn’t include in my list who have what I consider 5 really good albums is the Police.

Is there a better final album released by a major band than Synchronicity? Maybe the Beatles’ Let It Be.
