It does remind me an awful lot of Panama, even though Out Of The Cellar was released a mere 2-1/2 months after 1984. Out Of The Cellar was also released exactly 5 years to the day after Van Halen II.

Eric did, but that's fine. It's all subjective.

I don't hear anything in there that sounds like EVH. They sound like guitar fills. Harmonics and dive bombs no longer just remind me of Ed. There are plenty of guys who do em', in their own way.

There were plenty of guys who started doing them after Van Halen's debut album was released on 2/10/78.
