“Mine All Mine” Solo Cover

Using my Kramer 5150 replica with a Pariah Pasadena Black in a Swamp Ash Locke Custom Guitars body. Playing my 5150iii through a two notes captor with IRs for the first time. Delays and detune added in Logic.

First of all I normally give you shit because I know you don’t need the compliments, you know you’re good. But this was a spectacularly done solo. Great work dude. Have to chuckle at the one jealous asshole who gave you a dislike on YouTube.

When you hear a solo like this from Ed and then you hear people saying that he lost fire and didn’t play as well after Sammy joined the band, I just get a laugh out of that. He played the way he did because that’s what he wanted to do when Sam joined. Not because he couldn’t play like he did.

For sure. Anybody who doesn’t recognize the killer playing in the Hagar years just isn’t listening.

I just noticed somebody gave me a dislike on my Unchained video. Normally I don’t really look at that stuff and get annoyed but I happen to know I played that song pretty damn solid. I wish people who gave dislikes had to disclose who they were. I bet a lot fewer people would just be assholes for the sake of being assholes.

I find it so funny when someone takes the time to make a video of them playing and people rip it or down vote. It is one thing to ask "how I did etc?" But otherwise you are just sharing; I give all the credit in the world just to have the courage to do so.

For the record both of you; Brett and Jedi; and all others I have seen (okay except for the guy who played horribly out of tune and just faked through every solo we used to enjoy) are great and I learn something and enjoy watching every one of them.

There's a reason I don't post anything to YouTube (I post stuff on here rarely). Guys like Brett and Jedi are just too good, I'd feel like a dork putting my shit up.
