Default Rare Kramer stripe pattern show on Rob's youtube channel today

    Hey guys,
check out my youtube channel today at 1pm Eastern for a show on the rare EVH 80s Kramer stripe patterns. I’ll be discussing the Paul Unkert and George Felise stripe patterns they did to Ed’s early rare Kramer guitars. Should be a fun show Tune in to the show
and if you miss it, it will be on my channel.

Very cool Rob, enjoyed it a lot! First I’d heard of the cardboard thing with the striping!

thanks guys. Gonna start doing more of them on a regular basis again. Yeah Allen that was some cool info when I found it out too. I always wondered how they did it with the overspray and it was always such a bitch to recreate it but now that I do it that way its actually pretty simple lol.... that was great info too man on the 5150 being Ash and it being in Nashville last year under the microscope. I forgot about that and it makes perfect sense too. Thanks for putting that in there.

Cheers Rob...And as I said, Scott just does not believe any of this. He told me that he just can’t go on the word of our mutual friend, and I can understand that. But it will come out officially eventually...

I have just recently got some time to watch your older shows on your channel...I’m loving them! My favorite is you and Hubs doing the “Wet-Dry-Wet” explanation (or maybe “Wet-Drunk-Wet” ). You guys are hilarious and it’s really great to see how he got your rig going so well!

    Catch ya later buddy!

I’m glad this stuff is being shared, it would be ashamed if Edwards secrets get lost in time. Cool to learn how those guitars came to be.

The cool thing that I took away from the wet-drunk-wet show was that Chris used the Bray LO-1 Line Out box in his own rigs and Rob’s.

I go wet-dry with two amps using the Bray LO-1 line out box and so did Chelsea Constable. She was the one who hipped me to using the Bray box to get a two amp set up for first album style reverb and it also works well with for the detune chorus sounds. I use my Eventide H9 for both and the Bray makes it possible to get a great sound without spending massive amounts of money on a mixer, a power amp, etc. All you need is two amps, the Bray box and a wet output effect like the H9 or even a simple reverb pedal. It’s a great little cheap box that makes a huge difference and almost no one knows about it. I’m glad Hubs tried it!
