Him sharing the story is more of an insight as to what he stepped into more than anything else.
It's not like he had somebody removed from the concert for giving him the middle finger.

The fact he brought up the laser story and the thoughts he had about it was to me a bit dramatic. Like he was a soldier in the potential line of fire and he toughed it out, and now you know about it. But I guess if he's walking onto stage and see's a laser pointer and has those thoughts that's for him to work out.

Yeah I don't know if I would have worried about the guy giving the finger, but that's just me. Although there's an argument to be made that guy was disrupting the enjoyment of those around him and they may not want to say anything. For the life of me I don't know why someone would pay for a ticket to a show (or even attend one for free) and do that the entire time. What a waste of time.
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

There's morons everywhere, that's why somebody would point lasers and give people the finger. It's the way it is and the potential for that should be expected unfortunately in a live concert. That and people holding up fucking cellphones like a sea of zombies. But now, hey, we don't have that problem anymore because there's no more live concerts with a live audience in the same room. See how that worked out? Now they have cardboard cutouts and T.V. screens with people's heads on them as the audience. Or just nothing. I digress.

Ugh that's the worst. I get wanting to capture a brief moment of the concert, but it's extremely disappointing to see people watching the concert through their phone. You just paid $$ to see it live, and now you're taking in the visuals on a 5" screen. I don't get it.

I don't if it's related, but to me the biggest let down of modern audiences is the tendency to just stand/sit there. It's particularly noticeable with established rock acts (probably because the audience is older). It's like everyone is afraid to show their enjoyment and they all stand with their arms crossed with the attitude of "entertain me."

As opposed to just about everywhere else. Maybe Americans are too uptight, but you see bands play shows overseas or in South America and the crowds are REALLY into the music.

It's always funny to me seeing Iron Maiden vids from their concerts. When they play shows here they can't be as naturally pumped as they are in, say, Brazil. That energy has to be incredible for performers.

I think he'll just get more grizzled/wise/mature as time goes on and eventually not give a crap anymore about what these random schmoes say.
I really have no idea why Wolf even gives them the time of day. Just block them and move on. Him reacting to them is giving them exactly what they want.

Default Wolfgang VH on Bill Burr video podcast!

I do think it calls attention to things that would never get out there without him calling attention to them. Like I would never know about that idiot who said heís not Edís son if he didnít post about it. I just donít think giving someone who is obviously a fucking wacko and an asshole the time of day by even posting his words being worth berating him publicly. Thatís the kind of nonsense I would just completely ignore.

By the way if this clown canít see the resemblance to Ed in Wolf, then the guy is clearly a fucking moron.

I must have missed that part. Somebody said Wolf was not Ed's son? lol. It's a conspiracy. Ed possibly never had a son, it's just some guy pretending to be his son and the whole family is in on it. Who is the real Wolf Van Halen?

    That's funny shit.

I will say I think Wolf looks a lot more like his mom than Ed. If I wasn't a long time VH fan and I didn't know what Wolf looked like and who he was and saw him on the street I probably wouldn't pick him off as Ed's son to be honest. When you AB their faces you can see the resemblance but it's not a striking resemblance in my opinion. I look at Dhani Harrison or Sean Lennon, I see George and John, they're almost identical. There's a very strong resemblance. Julian Lennon looks like his mom. James McCartney looks more like his mom although you can see Paul. I'm using them as examples because of their obviously mega famous Dads.
