Probably my 3 favorite Aerosmith songs released after 1979's Night In The Ruts ...

Aerosmith's last good album was Pump...for me.

    Your mileage may vary.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

    Coincidence. Produced by Bruce Fairbairn.

I don't think the comparison is really fair since Aerosmith hired outside writerss. It's like if Eddie didn't write a VH song, which never happened.

Well nothing compares to Get Your Wings, Toys, Rocks, and Draw The Line. That is quintessential Aerosmith at their creative peak.

But I do like Pernanent Vacation and Pump, two really good albums. I look at those and compare them to 70s Aerosmith in kind of the same way I look at the Sam era and compare it to CVH. But they completely lost me after Pump.

I see the Aerosmith videos say Tyler left Aerosmith and Perry had to choose between Cherone and Malloy to replace him. He is picking Cherone. In case 25 years later anyone is still wondering why Ed and Alex chose Gary over Mitch.

Speaking of Aerosmith and Van Halen. It recently dawned on me that Man On A Mission sounds like it was heavily influenced by Ragdoll.
