Where is it now?

I know Edward said it wasn't the same after he had some work done on it, but it would be interesting to know if it's at 5150, or somewhere else.

It and all of Ed's stuff is likely still at 5150 and it is almost certainly under Matt's care still.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be residing in 5150. Where else would it be?

Friedman has worked on it over the years, when repairs were needed.

Just curious I suppose. It should probably be museum'ed.

I would agree that it is at 5150 with everything else. There’s no logical reason to think it wouldn’t be.

Actually I imagine that it is in a vault somewhere with the franky and the 5150 and the other LP’s that Eddie had. The 1959’s and the korina V. They high dollar ones. I think even wolf has alluded to that.

Wolfie and Matt are in control of all Ed's guitars, amps and equipment. Past and present. Chip also has some involvement however 5150 remains the home of all Edwards equipment other than what Wolf and Matt let go of.

Yeah, that photo is at least a decade old. The Guitar Aficionado feature about 5 years after that shows the Marshall safely at 5150, if I recall right. I imagine it’s still there. I don’t think it was part of the Smithsonian/Met exhibit?

It was part of The Met exhibit.

Ah cool, I didn’t recall it being THE Marshall. Wow, they went all out. So I imagine it’s wherever all the rest of this stuff is.

That exhibit was phenomenal. The way they displayed the guitars let you get right up to them.

Yeah! I was there, just don’t recall that particular aspect. I’m sure I have photos of it though. Great pics of the Franky... I do recall thinking ah, that’s what a Variac looks like. It was incredible—the VH stuff alone but some of the nonstar-owned vintage stuff too.

It really was. The accumulative worth of that exhibit would be mind boggling.
