Nick Perri memories of EVH

Remember Silvertide? They opened for VH on the 2004 tour. Though the band is likely defunct, they have a Facebook page. The lead guitarist Nick Perri posted some poignant memories of EVH the day after his passing, along with some terrific photos, including a photo of a guitar EVH inscribed for him, and a photo of all the VH and Silvertide band members together. AVH looks particularly happy! It's worth checking out.....

Out of 90+ pics there's 3-4 pics of the back of Ed... 1 with Nick and Ed and this one of both bands. The rest are shots of gear, flight cases and their band in their old van and gear trailer.

Can you imagine opening for Van Halen and then just breaking up and not going anywhere a few years down the line? That's happened countless times over the years and has been going on for decades, but I can't imagine getting so close to the pinnacle and then just fizzling out like that.
