Any news on the amp? Is it a 5150 4 or are they bringing back just 5150 since they own the name?

But the original 5150 never went away, just changed names. So is it just a PV 6505 with an EVH logo and jacked up price?

The name 5150 Iconic was trademarked last year for use with amplifiers. I’d assume that is the name or was an early iteration of the name.

I’m wondering if they’re saving the announcement of that amp for another time soon, like possibly Ed’s birthday. I’d imagine it’s going to be soon since it features in the upcoming Mammoth WVH videos.

What Gibson did to the Epiphone headstock in 2020 is excellent. It's about time they changed that shitty crown-like headstock and went back to the vintage Epiphone style headstock design.

I personally still think they should have the open-book style headstocks but with the change they made to it last year, I'd actually consider getting one. The 1959 Epiphone LP's sound fucking awesome.

I guess everyone who has them is holding onto them.

I got my AX40 a few years back. Couldn't find a D so I swapped the pickups for DiMarzios. I love the guitar and will never sell it!

Alex Lifeson has always been my second favorite guitarist w/ King Edward being the first.

I hope Lifeson continues his line of amplifiers too
