You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure there was obviously musical differences and egos clashing because when Dave left they went with Hagar. Hagar exit seemed more personal and replaced with Cherone. Glad Ed and Alex were able to patch it up with Roth for one more go. Van Halen went out the way they came in.
