So cool to see this after all these years. A friend told me about this a couple days after Eddie was there at Jason‘s house. I couldn’t believe it!!!! The fact that Eddie came to Richmond to visit with Jason was just amazing!!! Every time I go over to Jason‘s house I look at that autographed Peavey Wolfgang.

I just watched it before I saw this thread. It's a very touching video. It shows Ed was a caring person.

Having heard or watched all (or most) of these professional musicians, friends acquaintances, and music journalists gush over not only Ed being the goat but also the nicest most generous and humble person they met is stunning. It’s obvious he just didn’t poses that personality trait to believe his own press causing him to have a superiority complex. The vast majority do who become stars and receive the level of adulation Ed had/has.

Billy Corgan and Eddie Vedder probably described him the best or remarkably similar to what everyone has said and is still saying. He had every right to be an asshole because of who he is. But he remained one of the kindest people either have met. The old saying (paraphrasing) avoid meeting your hero’s as the will always let you down didn’t apply to Ed.

I’m blown away how many people completely unconnected and not part of Ed’s inner circle all describing him nearly identical terms.

To think of how frequently he was trashed here and especially at the Army by people who were sure he was a lying miserable prick could not have been more wrong. To bad it took his death for the masses to her from those actually in the now what a great human being he was. Not perfect by any means, but who wouldn’t want people to talk about you as a person like he has been when your time comes. The god given guitar prowess is just is just icing on the cake.

That was beautiful to watch.
Ed was clearly a very emotional person.
You could feel it in his playing, you can see it in his interactions here and in Wolf's video.
I'm so glad he was able to make amends with Sam and Mike before his passing also.
Hope Jason is doing well.

It's amazing to view that, Ed looks absolutely great, and Becker is still alive, but Eddie is gone.
I never would have expected Jason to survive as long as he has.

My former landlord got ALS, and was gone within two years.
It just hit him suddenly, then took him out.

God bless, Jason and his tremendous spirit.

Still can't believe Edward is no longer with us, though.
