"It was a guitar given to Eddie by John “the cat” gatto from the band Good Rats (hence the shape of the guitar). Eddie clearly striped it himself with gaff tape or something."

The Good Rats are famous out here in NY on Long Island!

LOL...The Good Rats. They were popular in Rochester when I was a kid.

Never seen that guitar before either. Compared to the other pic looks like he totally changed the electronics on it, as well. A complete Van Halenization.
