1960s: Cream - Disraeli Gears (I'd have picked Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue but it was released in '59)
1970s: Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
    1980s: Rush - Signals
    1990s: VH - Balance

    Great list of albums.
    Just curious:
LZ III is your favorite Zep album from the 70's? I wouldn't think it would be the popular choice. I respect that.

And you like VHII over the debut? I've heard this from a few people. I'll never understand that opinion. LOL, it's all good though.

Picking between Exile and Sticky is very difficult. Probably have to depend on the day for me.

Led Zeppelin III wouldn’t have been my choice in the 80’s, but that album has grown in stature for me over the years.

Van Halen II was my first Van Halen album, has more of personal meaning to me, over the debut. Which I didn’t hear, save for Running with the Devil, Jamie’s Crying, & You Really Got Me, until a few months later.

Exile on Main Street is hands down my favorite album of all time.

    I’d add to my list

    70s-Animals
    90s-Wildflowers

My preference as well. There's nothing bad about the debut. VHII just has that something more. Not quite sure what it is.

    Thumbs up

That's not an easy job to pick fav albums, Coulda. But let's see:

1960s: Everything from The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zep I, Pet Sounds (The Beach Boys), Bayou Country & Cosmo's Factory (CCR).

1970s: Van Halen II, Presence & PG (Led Zep), Sweet FA & Desolation Boulevard (Sweet), R'n'R Over & Dinasty (Kiss), Master of Reality & H&H (The Sabs), Burn (DP), C'est Chic (Chic).

1980s: Fair Warning (VH), Piece of Mind & Powerslave (Maiden), Fast as a Shark (Accept), KIMB ... ABIG (Megadeth), Signals (Rush), Riverdogs (Riverdogs), Flick of the Switch (AC/DC), The Real Thing (FNM), Like a Virgin (Madonna).

1990s: Falling from Infinity (DT), Parallels (Fates Warning), Nevermind (Nirvana), Risk (Megadeth), There's Nothing Left to Lose (The Foos).

2000s: The System Has Failed (Megadeth), 06 Degrees of Inner Turbulence & Octavarium (DT), Catch 33 (Meshuggah).

2010s: Tesseract (Altered State), Koloss & The Violent Sleep of Reason (Meshuggah), Stalingrad (Accept).

    1960s: "Beggars Banquet"

    1970s: Van Halen I

1980s: Very tough, but probably "Appetite for Destruction"

1990s: Likewise very tough, but if the measure is which album from that decade I spin most frequently still, the honor must go to "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge."
